Our Virtual Terminal supports Force transactions. A cardholder’s card may be declined due to security concerns. An example is if the credit card is over the limit or is restricted to using the card at certain types of businesses. When processing this type of transaction, you assume all risks, including dispute risk.
To process a force transaction:
- Select Force.
- Enter the Transaction Amount, Approval Code, the Card Details, and Postal Code at the minimum. View the Virtual Terminal table for all the possible fields available and their definition.
- Click on Submit to process the force transaction.
- View the transaction receipt and transaction result.
Our Payment Gateway also supports force transactions.
